Made some progress on my Aquamarine flavored Space Marine fleet. All models are on a second paint job, with some of the elements on its third pass.
Adding the grey was a last minute decision, but I really like how it breaks up the hull. Although I am thinking it should be lighter.
The next step is to get all the lights/domes picked out. Then I may go back and selectively add some washes/hi-lights. Oh yeah, I have to figure out what color to paint all the aquilas.
A few weeks ago, I created Aquamarine logos for 3D printing to apply to all the ships (inside the teal circles).
Aquamarines are an Ultramarines successor chapter. Over the years I played around with different logos incorporating dolphins (do you get why? LOL!). But eventually settled on the upside down Ultramarines logo since I was spoofing the chapter name.
