I finally have 1000 points completely marked and co-ordinated with matching templates for my khorne and Empire fleets. Finally had a game where I could really focus on the game and not try to remember which ship is which template.
In previous games including the one against my brother I just keep failing to score anything substantial against the greatship so I always put that out in front and this time again I swarm it with Ironsharks and they do nothing but destroy the lower decks without scoring any BW hits
scored 2 criticals and each were a 1 to re-roll on the captains table. 1 says that the captain gets washed overboard and the ship would need to sail left or right or forward for him. If my admiral is aboard, did he wash overboard? Not seeing anything about the admiral as a captain and knowing the difference in ranks I just decided that the captain is dead as the great ship cannot move anywhere to pick him up being surrounded by 5 ironsharks. So no movement for the rest of the turn as it elects a new captain right? Seems fair to me but I don't see any rules clarifying this.
I had the greatship surrounded for 2 turns and the first turn I broke open the treasure chest so the crew was busy picking it up to do anything. Next and final turn of the game I washed the captain overboard. So the greatship was nullified in the last 2 turns of the game.
With everything marked like this the game keeps getting better!
