Lex - we have around 16-18 players committed to Nov - which is nice! Would love to  get a warband together and come back to the mainland! Maybe new year would be better?

OK, I'll see to make myself available for Lex's one day event then. (I will not be available on the first week of November as I'm participating in the bloodbowl world cup in Lucca). I doubt Lex will do it on that weekend anyway, as the Antwerp wargames convention Crisis is on the same weekend and I bet Jo will likely go there.

It might be a good time to also discuss a weekend tournament then (when we're at Lex's).
Over here I've been organising a two day bloodbowl tournaments from 2002 onwards (first alone, later a good friend of mine helped out), so I certainly have the contacts to do something like that. In fact the first one was a double warmaster bloodbowl tournament, but due to lack of interest we retained the bloodbowl part only.
Is there a calendar on this site with the upcoming tournaments?

Anyway, the wargame convention I talked about earlier is on the 12th of March. I hope that doesn't conflict with the next Saffron Waldon Triwizard, because I'd love to join that one. It would be nice to get some feedback if people are interested. That way I can then get a table reserved for us.

Hi Christof,

Thomas here. The little time I have for miniatures got distracted by Epic and a 10mm Napoleonics project. But recently Warmaster got my attention again when I received the Evil Men crowd funder figures. They are fantastic and I started painting them right away. Would be great to bring them out to battle against your Orcs.

aha, Thomas,

Well, good seeing you again.
Good thing to know is that Jo is also playing now and  he's got connections with others playing. We should see to meet up and get some games under our belt.
I also need to check with Toon (Peter), for a game, but it's been a bit busy lately.

Actually I was waiting for some news when Lex would check for that get together. Otherwise let's just see to meet up somewhere with the gang, have a pint and discuss what we can do with warmaster again.

If someone would be able to tell when Alex is foreseeing that Saffron Waldon event in March/April next year we can see what we can do. If it isn't on the 12th of March, we might be able to do a game at Warcon again? If you are up to it of course?

Ah, and we've had a second battle against Jo again, this time Skaven versus witch hunters. It was a real fun game, very bloody as well. Jo's taken some pictures. I'll see if we can create something of a battle report especially as those are two of the rarer played armies and this was a real fun battle.

A game in Gent would be great. It would add motivation to finish the Evil Men army. I have also early stage Araby and Wood Elve armies. And I was looking at the Pendraken Samurai Apes as an addition to my samurai army.

@Quasar42

Oh if you say that, you must show us pictures! I am planning on making a Wood Elf army using a mixture of Eureka and GW Dark Elf proxies.

Photos are not one of my strengths. But I might build up the courage. I use Eureka too. Since they are quite a bit smaller than the GW figures I envisage them as some kind of pixy type creatures and I paint them with blue skin! I have also these from Microworld: http://www.microworldgames.com/collections/6mm-fantasy/products/pixie and these http://www.microworldgames.com/collections/6mm-fantasy/products/lesser-treekin.  Plus treemen from Kallistra. For the actual elves I was thinking of either Copplestone rangers or the BOFA Elves.

I'm going to use the Copplestone Rangers, myself.
