From April 2014 RyanAir will operate cheap flights from Edinburgh to Gothenburg.

1) When is your 2014 event?
2) Would you be open to non Swedish players possibly taking part?
(My Swedish is limited to "please", "thank you" and "Can I have 2 beers please?")

I am willing to learn Swedish for:  "3 attacks", "+1 for charging", "+1 following up" and "+1 for every 3cm".

Now all I need to find are some customers in Gothenburg to justify a trip across.   :)
I've been before.
regards

I'm not an arranger but I'm pretty sure that I speak for all of us here when I say that you'd be more than welcome to partake. Based on previous years I suppose the event will take place 31 Oct. to 2 Nov.

We're all capable of speaking English (there isn't a Swedish translation of the rules after all) but I'll happily assist any iniative to learn Swedish:

"Tre attacker", "plus ett för charge", "plus ett för att förfölja" and "plus ett per tre centimeter". Yes, we speak a lot of Swenglish when playing the game, hence the 'charge' rather 'stormningen'. :) You may have to look up pronunciation depending on your previous experience with the Swedish alphabet. A quick rule to remember would be that double consonants always follow a short vowel.

Hello!

1. Halloween weekend, 31/10-2/11. (sneak-start on 30/10)
2. We are open for non-swedes to participate. Can´t guarantee that we will let you leave the country with the Champ-trophy though. ;)

Details
Latest version of the rulebook. Some house-rules, firstly regarding charging. Scenarios that aim for realistic battle-field conditions, rain, light and so on. 2000p armys. Unpainted is welcome, but painted warriors fight better. There may be some sort of seeded who-meets-who system.

Hum hum, yep that´s about it. Please feel free to ask more.

Oh, yes, we use a developed point-system to calculate who is the winner and how much tournament points that gives. :)

Cheers!

In general and historically we have not accepted Trial armys.
Only the armies from Armybook 2009(?) and the two tournament lists.
To make a fair call on this one, I would like to ask the other swedes that plan to partcipate.
Over to semi swe/eng FB-group.

Hi,

Still interessted to join. Flight prices are scceptable from Frankfurt.

Is there a chance to get a hotel with fair costs next to the event location?

Regards,
Jürgen
