This time, I'll definitely get an order in prior to closing.  And will add some Arquebusiers that I missed out on.

At this rate in 2 years or so we might have a Birdman of Catrazza unit! =D

I like them- though I can't help but imagine those moustaches tangling around the crossbow string. That would be a painful shot...

Birdmen of Catrazza would be great. It's a shame the Dogs of War list doesn't have Braganza's Besiegers as well- they were always one of my favourite units (as a primarily Wood Elf player the thought of a unit that could both shoot well and receive shooting with little worry made me very envious).

@Geep

Yeah I was hoping for ones aiming in that direction, but not this time.  I thought that I could use the Kallistra Pavises in order to suggest a Defended position for crossbowmen.

The problem with the Birdmen is that no one is likely to buy more than a couple of units, so sales wouldn't be big.

On average, I'd have to sell 180 units to break even. That's easier when people are buying 4 or 8 each. If it were 1-2 each I don't think I'd get there.

Siege equipment (pavises included) would be fun but I think people want more units first.

@Dave:

Ha ha, sorry, I know it's not realistic - I just like to dream.  My proposal for that would be to only pay for two poses and two wing sets, which would give a total of four combinations.  But even then, if every single DoW player bought 2 in the world you probably still wouldn't break even.

As Empire Knights / Pistoliers are still plentiful - I guess Galloper Guns would be what I would really beg for next. =)

They're nearly there:

I'm hoping to submit the KS for approval today. After it's approved I'll start it once I get some final shots from Bob and I'll let it run to Oct. 25. After that, once I've got the greens and the KS is funded I'll take them down to D&D to get the ball rolling on moulding.

Any chance you can let it run to Oct 27? My employer doesn't transfer the salaries until then for untold reasons.

@aquahog - If it's an issue before the KS ends e-mail what you're after and I'll give you the KS prices.
