I was playing a game to practice my newly finished elf fleet and the elf mage and came across a situation.
My plagueship had the chaos lord and 1 warrior counter left on it and boarded a hawkship, killing the crew and capturing the hawkship.
specifically, what are the steps, because when the elf crew is killed off do I need to move the 1 warrior counter onto the ship at that moment? I do not think I do so I didn't. Plus an attack was coming so I did not want to leave my nurgle lord all alone on that big empty ship.
The Dragonship then came down, failed to slice the ship in half so to finish its movement, drifted off from the plagueship.
So do I need to keep the warrior crew counter on the hawkship to then scuttle it in the end phase? if I did then the dragon ship would have probably boarded, took the nurgle rot counter and captured the flagship of nurgle to scuttle it, leaving the warrior crew on the hawkship.........but THEN I have a new problem, if the warrior crew is scuttling the hawkship, wouldn't they then need to scuttle the hawkship only to get back to the plagueship and have it blown to bits by the elf crew that also cut their lords throat because he was killed in the boarding action? LOL
Reading the "scuttle a ship" section of the rule book, it looks like I need to leave the crew on the hawkship to scuttle it, so since I didn't leave the warrior crew on the ship, I cannot scuttle it?
I think I have it right. I captured it but left it empty, if the game comes to an end like that then I will have 2 times the BH for a captured ship. I normally would not want to leave it empty as it could be re-captured but in this situation...
Could someone confirm this please? Thank you.
