@Mlkr... red bows... , that colour works great for goblins. It is a really good touch. Banner is very well executed.

@Dave, wow that figures rocks!

MLKR's [ENTRY] May 2016
Games Workshop Goblin Archer's with Goblin Fanatic Hero.

These are by far the best sculpts for Warmaster I've painted to date. Love single sculpts and the variety it offers when basing :) GW's strips are all nicely sculpted but they can look a bit repetative.

Anyways - these are all GW except for two bannerpieces from Polar Fox's Ironside Orcs. Based white and washed with GW Nuln Oil to preshade skin and bring out details on the rest of the mini's. Painted with Vallejo game colours except for the yellows and any washes which are GW. I finish my miniatures off by brushing on Army Painter's strong tone dip and then a matte spray. Basing is done with bits of cork, fine wallplaster, tufts and scenic grass from various companies.

These were pure joy to paint and base and I would love to do more of these in the future. Very proud of the results and I feel it will be a daunting task for me to follow this up next month. It's been great getting positive feedback from you all and inspiring seeing everyone else's work in progress. Thank you :) Looking forward to seeing all our final results at the end of this month!

Cheers

MLKR - those goblins look really good. The bases, trolls and arrangement make them look like a vicious, cowardly mob!

Dave - beautiful pike regiment. I haven't got round to painting my Warmonger pikes yet, but you've moved them up the "to do" list.

@mlkr, really like the varied nature of the units - it has created a really good horde effect.  And great painting too.

I'm loving the goblins, so much character and energy in the unit! The trolls and squigs really add to the chaotic feel but the unit looks super cohesive, a complete army done in that style would be utterly spectacular on the table, you're on track for having a work of art on yoyr hands mlkr!

On my own commitment, I managed to prime all seven units of dwarf warriors I own today, let's see if I can knock out the two I pledged over the next week!

Really good work, goblinz!

I am finished the flyer and the general. Finally I chose the Nurlge papa eating souls as Dave and Aquahog suggested.  Thanks guys.

Just to prove I am working...here are my slayers and (one of my) dwarf command which I painted Friday night. Couldn't resist a group shot with my tiny little throng.

Apologies to those who have already seen these on the warmaster or oldhammer fbook groups.

@JChaos79, awesome general.  Really like it.  Great slime look.

Yeah, that is creepily good jchaos. Love the throng also gorrin. I picked up a few reinforcements for mine in the same colors on Ebay a year ago with the mind to strip them and repaint in my own gold/yellow scheme. I haven't had the heart to do it so far however.

Some impressive entries are already in. Here is my humble addition to the mix.

Shamelessly stole the format from MLKR :)
