There's a surprising amount of activity around the world from this. It's great. Keep painting guys.

@jchaos: I like option 1.

I agree with Dave on option 1. I've put down a layer of skin on the flagellants. Hopefully more progress tonight if baby sleeps well.

Made a start on the Polar Fox skeletons AKA Tomb Guard for my Vampire Count's army. Pictures at some point, but it's late and I need to climb the wooden hill to the Land of Nod.

Good journey to the east of Eden!

Looking forward to see those sack of bones!

@mlkr indeed the skin looks great and the facial expressions are enhanced.

Ok, it is raining the whole weekend so I took advantage of the weather and paint as much as I could. So the Nurgle army is quite complete. I also paint an extra daemon cavalry (slaanesh) because I wanted to use the inks purple and blue ink.

Finally I drop the idea of metallic chip in the bases, and went for a kind of burnt-volcanic dark soil for the army.

First the Big bad**ss daemon. Grotesque miniature....

progress

Final model

Daemon horde 1

Daemon horde 2

Daemon Cav 1

Daemon Cav 2

Daemon Cav 3

Daemon Swarm 1

Daemon Swarm 2

My son is helping me with High elf army. It seems he like to add too many layers, so a couple of figures take ages for him.

and on the workbench the Horde number 3, the flyers, the hero on palanquin and the tortured soul figure to finish the general.

All of these will finish my goal of Nurgle Papa Army for the Tale. Because it is early in the month maybe I could think about some scenery element for the army or another unit... do not know chariots?

Neat stuff jchaos! (Raining all weekend in Spain while it's hot and sunny in Sweden? What is the world coming to?)

Progress photos on my Polar Fox Skeletons which will be Grave Guard in my Vampire Counts army.
Bizarrely, the shields are purple, so why they're showing as blue I've no idea!
