Canonball!

I'm hoping to commission a light, horse-drawn cannon soon. Something that could gallop all over the field. Would people be interested? The cost of additional pieces and crew wouldn't be outside the realm of Kickstarter stretch goals too. My thoughts were:

Heavy Cannon
Mortar
Ribauldequin

Thoughts on those? Any particular order I should put them in for stretch goals? Anything else I should add?

I'm afraid I didn't join the past couple of kickstarters because I have so much in the way of equivalent Empire troops / cavalry I couldn't justify any more.  In essence, I was quietly waiting and hoping you'd get to light horse drawn cannon like this.

My personal order of interest would be:

Horse-Drawn Cannon
Mortar
Ribauldequin
Heavy Cannon

I'm pretty much a +1 to Stormwind's post. The postage costs have also been off putting lately.

Horse-Drawn Cannon
Mortar
Ribauldequin
Heavy Cannon

I think that would be my order of preference too. I have plenty of heavy cannon from GW Empire

Makes sense. I'm hoping to be able to offer a limbered and unlimbered canon in one pack, with six crew for $10. That'll depend on the weight of the canons though.

Unfortunately, I can't do much about the postage cost. USPS charges have been going up and up. The best I can offer is combining with another person to split the cost.

I'd be interested.  Although my artillery park is probably already full by any objective measurement, it's always nice to add in some variety!

I’d be interested in cannon. My order of preference:
Horse drawn cannon
Heavy cannon
Rebauldequin
Mortar

Mainly because the dogs of war proxies should be the priority (IMO), the second two can proxy for empire units, and as far as I know mortars are just “counts as” for cannon in the empire list.

A good opportunity for stretch goals, I would think. I don’t remember Warmonger ever doing that.

I would be interested in a horse-drawn cannon, and also the ribauldequin (particularly if it happens to look a lot like a dwarf organ gun).

I'm interested

Light cannons - so I can use them as a DOW unit.

Any order for further weapons - doesn't worry me.

This was 100% my thinking, too, but I wasn't sure if I should say it out loud...  :-X

People don't have a bunch of Dwarf organ guns already? Huh, must be a New England thing. We have Dwarf organs flying every which way up here.

I just made my first WM order, and am really looking forward to getting the minis (I meant to *years* ago, but better late than never, I spose?).

I'm using them to build an Empire army, so I'd like artillery that's usable for both DoW and Empire, if possible. After artillery, do you have any plans for characters?

I do, I'm not sure if it'll happen immediately though. I don't see people buying more than 1-2 packs of characters, which means recapping the capital expended to get them sculpted will take that much longer. My thought, at this point, is to find a unit for the next army that will sell well. Hopefully well enough to get the next unit for that army done as well as the characters.

I've commissioned the light, horse-drawn cannon from Bob. Pics as I get them.

Yep, I see your point about the characters. No point in losing money on a unit!

Looking forward to seeing the artillery.

You could always use some of the command figures from the existing units to reduce the number of New sculpts required.
