Kislev army list error?
« on: April 26, 2019, 06:45:00 PM »
I've just noticed:

Winged Lancers are 3 attacks, 3 hits and 5+ armour for 100 points.
Cossacks are 3/1 attacks, 3 hits and 5+ armour for 95 points.

Cossacks have a shooting attack for 5 points LESS? That can't be right?

Should Cossacks be 110 points?

Edit: Also the Red Guard have the same stats as Cossacks but are infantry, yet are only 5 points cheaper than Cossacks. Another indicator that Cossacks are underpriced perhaps.

Winged Lancers get a bonus attack on the charge.

Red Guard reduce armor saves by 1.

I see what you mean Dave but I still think Cossacks are a little bit underpriced. Although as you can only take 2 units per 1000 points, perhaps it wouldn't make that much difference in the long run?

They're the same stats and cost as Empire Pistoleers, and those are max 4. I think if they were open to abuse it would have been brought up by now.

Agree with Dave. Have played Kislev a lot in the last few years and the unit costs seem OK to me. Cossacks same cost as Pistoliers so nothing strange there.  And you are forced to take four horse archers in a 2,000 point list which reduces your cavalry options anyway.
