Started working on the 'interior' of the main ship, still needs quite some work. But you're getting the idea. Also added some extra details on the main ship's super structure. Don't wanna put too much detailing on there since I want folks to be able to add all sorts of funky markings on it. And, the landing pod has gotten some additional side thrusters. The crudely kitbashed 54mm tall Drifters are just added for scaling purposes. I'm already pondering a bit about landing gears for the pod.

Another day, and some new (modular) buildings are out! You can basically stack them up as short or tall as you want, depending on how many level components you wanna print out and cram in there.

Another Alpha Hab Block building? That's right!

ALPHA HAB BLOCK TWO!

The Alpha Hab Block Two is designed for 6mm/8mm gaming, but it could probably be upscaled for 10mm and 15mm scaled gaming as well. This makes the Alpha Hab Block suitable for games such as Adeptus Titanicus, Dropzone Commander, or Battletech.

The kit contains both single piece as two piece (separate roof) versions of the building.
- 3 single piece Alpha Hab Block Two (which each of the 3 roof types)
- 3 separate roofs
- walls put together as a single piece

The dimensions of the buildings are 77.64mm deep and 65.67mm wide. The heights vary (depending on the roof type), but the "walkable" part of the roof is 83.12mm tall.

Note that the final picture with the infantry base only shows how 25mm round based infantry look on and next to the building. Infantry and bases are not included in this kit.

[BFG] Discussion / BFG:2020 - how different is it?

Hi guys,

having stumbled across the alternate activations presented in BFG:2020, I gotta say I am intrigued. Now the rulebook mentions redone fleet documents which are sadly not included in Horizon's archive atm.

My gaming group is rather too large to have every player go seperately, there is just too much nosepicking time in a regular game of BFG with 6 or more admirals. We had far better results with player engagement while playing Gaslands, where everyone is back in action with his next activation after a short while.

My question to people who have used the alternate activation rules is the following: How do they feel? Can you use the BFG:R fleets as is? Horizon stated on a reddit thread once that they affect ordonance unduly (making them underpowered if I read that right?). Is there a rebalanced Ship compendium to account for made changes?

On a related note, did anything other than the activations get changed in BFG:2020 that I missed? It's been a while and I did not compare say bomber rules or anything to BFG:R yet.

I'd love to hear thoughts and anectodes from people who tried it out.
