Welcome Dranask!
Goblin army is very fun and when you win it is a delicious moment. Here are some tips:
- Your infantry is weak, so do not try to win with it. Use it for holding position in defended ground.
- If you have chariots (as wolves) this is your hammer, you can attack fast with them.
- Wolf raiders are not a punch force, but they have the ability of shooting so they are good for shoot and withstand charges (maybe not enough resilient to an assault of enemy heavy cavalry). If you attack with a 4 unit - brigade of them you could do a light horsemen nomadic tactic, like mongols. Attack with 2 or 3 and dispose 1 or 2 in the flanks of the enemy brigade to shoot the units that are supporting the first line. With luck you cuold confuse them or make them retreat negating their support.
- Use magic, greenskins are reknown for their waaaagh, so use it, this spell is particulary interesting. If you could maximize shamans will be good for you.
- Do not make elaborated plans before battle, because the greenskins will be unpredictable during the game due to its low command. So be prepare to change your battle plan in every turn. Sticking for a plan minded before the game, could be frustrating as your little goblins refuse to do what you had planned, and lead to disaster. Think like a little eager mean gobbo taking all the oportunities.
- Think like a gobbo, enjoy the mayhem (even if your troops are the ones who die)

- Do not spread your army too much, offering isolated brigades, they became easy target for the enemy.
- If you go for a horde army with lots of goblin infantry, you will have a bigger battle line. Use it.
- Remember when loosing a hand to hand assault the troops supporting can deny making way. Your fighting goblins will die, but you force the enemy to make an advance if he wants to fight. Maybe his furious attack will end with your troops around them and then starts your turn to come over him like a green tide.
- Last but not least: there are a lot of way of playing, in warmaster there is no a winning armylist configuration, so you will need to play, play and play until you discover the way you battle (more offensive, more defensive, with a horde army, with a cavalry army, with a balance army, using artillery or not... and so on)
have fun and looking forward to see some pics of your army or games!
