Dogs of War list a bit good?
« on: March 01, 2010, 08:14:13 PM »
I would welcome the community's opinion on the Dogs of War list. Having fought it just the once my initial impression was that it is a bit good. It has access to light and heavy infantry, light and heavy cavalry, decent missile troops and decent flyers. Good monsters and pikemen. Characters and Magic are o.k too????

It looks to me like although everything has been individually correctly pointed and no one unit is 'uber powerful', the combined effect of a list that has access to everything and, therefore, has no 'achilles heel' (unlike every other list I have played against) means it is a real tough nut to crack.

Or have I overlooked a weakness and am just whining? :)

I have it and on the 2 occasions I have used it I got slaughtered :)
You really have to coordinate your forces to make them effective.

So I think it is a good list, as uber lists I win with straight out of the tin, good lists take me a few games to get into the swing of things.
