Rapiers

Hey Cianty,

I just noticed that the rules for rapiers changed from Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe to Nemesis Crown. Is this a typo or a deliberate adjustment to the rules?

Cheers!

Edited to add...

I shouldn't be lazy. The YOCS rules give the weapon a +1 enemy armour save while the NC rules does not have this but instead it attacks with Strength as user -1.

I don't know as I am not responsible for that.

Where are those different rules for rapiers? I suppose they are in one of the warbands?

That's OK as I was just curious in case you new something about it. :)

The NC rules for Rapiers is in the warband listing for the Hochland Bandits.

Wow, that's weird indeed.

Mark wrote the rules and as far as I remember they were originally written for the Krak Eight-Peaks supplement he was commissioned to do. Maybe the Rapier rules were taken from another draft that eventually changed or something.

Anyways, now this is clearly a "typo" and I guess I should fix it... :-\

The YOCS would be the official rules. If they are different in NC it was purely an accident or oversite.
