You mentioned counter-charges. Do you play Chaos on the Streets rules for multiplayer or have you house ruled your round sequence for multiplayer games?
Sorry about that.. We were at a gaming convention during the easter where my friends and i tried to give as many people as possible a chance to play mordheim, get them to see the beauty of the game. The hardest thing wasn't people that had never played a game related to warhammer. Remembering the real rules. That's really hard. Same now, didn't even think about it when i wrote.
Our system regarding multiplayer is pretty easy, and works really well (according to us). It's much faster when you're a lot of players. For every turn you roll an initiative. the highest scoring starts with recovery and then in falling initiative order everyone proceed with their recovery/ then their movement/shooting/hand to hand. New turn - new initiative.
This speeds up the game, perhaps not needed when you're 3 players but when you're six or more.. (we played with 8 ). But it also means that if someone charged you, some of your guys might be in range for a charge they otherwise couldn't (i.e a countercharge) because it was too far/couldn't see.. Though, the initial charger counts as charging even those that charged him. This in order to still gain the advantage of charging first.
Makes everything different, whole new tactics.
Lucky the Undead routed or else it sounded like they would have had the game in the bag.
You're so right.. I saw my prize slipping away untill i stood there all by myself..

Very, very nice terrain. I want! Grin
Thank you very much.. It's a very different game when you add the extra dimension with houses that stretch 4-5 floors.
Btw. I was doing my best to get the pics to appear in the text but failed, what did I do wrong?
Best regards
