Confused Units Pursue/Advance
« on: July 17, 2010, 01:22:15 PM »
There is one issue I could not yet solve by the rulebook. Maybe some of you out there are able to help (if not that might be stuff for FAQ).

We know that confused units may not:
-) be ordered
-) use initiative
-) support

and they get -1 attack

It's also clearly said that they normally won't move in the Command Phase but indeed may move in other Phases (LRB p56) (for example it is allowed to make way with confused units).

But taken the fact a confused unit is attacked and wins the combat.
Are they allowed to
a) pursue?
or if they destroy the attacking unit even
b) advance?

Anyone in possession of the needed wisdom?

Greetings,
Gerald

Yes, they may !!

It is assumed that being on the winning side of the fight will bring the troops together in a more organised fashion, however !!   they WILL remain" Confused"  for all intents and purposes  8)
