are skaven clan rats not modeled as 2 strips to a base?

what other army has core infantry not 2 strips to a base?

Clan Rats are 2 Rats each. The blister comes with 18x2 Clan Rats -> 6x2 Clan Rats per base. I've often seen them glued 4x2 per base bec. you get more units out of your blisters ;)

Other core:
Empire crossbowmen, High Elves archers, etc.

There is MUCH versatility in even being able to have them snipped to singles...... I guess more pictures are in order...

6 strips of 2 per base seems decent enough
I mount my archers 5 per base because 4 seems too sparse and that looks right so 6 should be nicely crowded

Btw why were they done this way rather than the two strips of 8?
