Some Rules Questions
« on: October 17, 2010, 07:53:39 PM »
I managed to get a quite cheap copy of Space Hulk '09 last week (hooray!) and during the games two questions occurred to me. Maybe someone here can help me.

1) What happens if a Genestealer just about reaches a Marine without having anymore APs to attack him? Is the Marine allowed in his turn to shoot at the GS instead of attacking him? Or would he at least be allowed to forebear the attack?

2) How are multiple combats resolved? In example what happens if a broodlord is attacked by a Sergeant with hammer in the front and a Marine in the rear?

I am no expert, but as I understand it...

1. If a Genestealer can only approach a Marine and runs out of APs, it must stand there. The Marine can react if allowed as normal, but is likely to blast away at the Genestealer in its next activation.

2. There are no multiple combats, as miniatures are activated one at a time. In your example, one of the two Marines would activate first - probably whoever is behind the Broodlord - and carry out all of his attacks, before the other Marines would do anything.

Correct

Also, correct :)
