Want: Battle of Five Armies card river
« on: October 20, 2010, 03:17:02 PM »
Hi All, I'm looking to expand my BoFA river and wonder if anyone has one they'd part with? I'd happily trade for it or buy one if the price is right.

Thanks - pw

I might have a spare one mate.
I made my river, but I don't think I got rid of both of the rivers I got from the sets.
I will let you know later today

europe or US?

I have one, and plan on buying another. Besides, I have a nice river set for 15mm FOW.... which is close enough for warmaster.

I'm in the UK. Any offers entertained, I'm still looking.  :)

@Marell: I'll take a picture and put it up on the 'terrain' thread I started.

@Haranin: is that the pre-painted river set that comes with two bridges (Battledfield in a box?)? If it is I'd love to see some pictures, I've been very tempted to buy it but wasn't sure how it looked.

OK, took some pictures and looted the battefront site for pictures.

the river sections are a soft resin/plastic; so they are some what flexable. Considering that I paid for them, I will not be doing destructive testing.  None of the pictures with the ruler in them turned out well. The BF river system is about 50% wider then BOFA. One unit can be in the river completely. Bridges are about 50mm wide. IE infantry can go in them just fine, but knights would need to be irregular (2 up, 1 back).

hmm. I need host pictures to post them. I'll have to email them.
