Yeah !! EuroGT was last weekend, and as always very good fun, it is always nice to meet old friends from far-away places and to meet people from the forums and be able to put a face to a name (in this case BlackEd made his way over to Germany from the States to join us!)
The event itself is not a proper tournamentas such,but a campaign-driven teams event, so winning or losing games may be hard depending on circumstances. That said the ratz did nice winning 2, drawing 1 and losing 2 (altough I claim one loss as a moral win, because the scenario is almost impossible to win, and I DID get to hold one and content another objective which means that the only UNIT lost in the entire game (one unit of gutterrunners) made the difference

)
The massed approach did work well, and several opponents where phased when gutterrunners appear all over their zone, and two consecutive orders from the general then move 24 units !!! to the midline of the table..
Oh Yeah ..... the Ratz
could have clinched the team the event win in the FIRST round of sunday, but due to some miscommunication (there is on average 4 languages spoken at any EuroGT

) I ended up defending in that game, instead of attacking. If I HAD played the attacker and won that game we would have overrun the oponents capital city
