Are the rules available anywhere?
« on: June 05, 2009, 06:12:29 AM »
Hi guys. I was wondeering if the rules for Man o War were available online. IIRC, they are authorised by GW to be distributed for free, but I may be mistaken.
For it is of old rumour that the soul of the devil-bought hastes not from his charnel clay, but fats and instructs the very worm that gnaws; till out of corruption horrid life springs, and the dull scavengers of earth wax crafty to vex it and swell monstrous to plague it.

Hi there,

nope, no official place to download them.
One of the few specialist games that doesn't. I suspect that this is down to the fact that there are no figures still available from GW so they cannot support it in any way.

Have a look over at boardgamegeek.com under Man o'War for a nice rules summary and playing card templates for all fleets.
This goes a long way to help ing you play the game.
Also come and join 'theseaofclaws' yahoo group as you'll get alot of help there with any queries with regards to rules etc.

No official place to obtain them, but Wonderdog's specialist games archive has some helpful downloads on the his site.
