I started an Empire Army more than one year ago. I decided it ws high time I did some progress, so I'll be posting regularly, just to keep the momentum...

Here is the lead mountain awaiting the brush...



The first units...



Hallebardiers from Carroburg



Knights of the Blazing Sun (still waiting for a proper base)



And Knights of the Purple Heart, ready to defend their home city, Talabheim

Whilst I was oogling your pics, Lex  swooped in and beat me to the commentary.  So I won't repeat his apt comments, but will instead say that your banners are really impressive in any scale.  Great job and keep the brush stippling...

Excellent! Please keep the pictures coming.

You're making my brush finger start itching to go back to my abortive start on my Empire mountain of lead (15 units painted before I sickened myself off last year).

Dude superb colors! I love that you are actually doing theme units from the various regions of the empire. Also, your banners are so good as to be jawdropping!  :o Those banners look like they were done free hand and if so that is stunning work friend.

Thanks for the nice words guys. This is what is needed to get motivation.

Yes, the beards and the banners (especially the reverse side!!!) are sources of endless joy   :-\

I'll post again once I finish the next two units (cross bows and one more hallebardiers)

Wow, summer got in the way, and everything has been on hold for several weeks. But thank Sigmar, I'm back in business.
The crossbows are over, and one of the hallebardiers is almost done. I finished half (sigh  :'() of the banner, and couldn't resist showing you the lady the soldiers of Talabheim refer to as Hässliche Betty....
