Cost of Kislev
« on: June 12, 2011, 01:42:29 AM »
I have a ton of Warmaster stuff and I'm slowly going thru it. It appears I have a sizable Kislev force & I'm curious just roughly how much they're worth. Everything is unpainted / primed white.

2x Character Packs
2 units Bears
4 units Archers
5 units axe infantry
2 War Wagons, 1 NIB
5x units Horse Archers
4x units Winged Lancers

not sure I want to sell it but just curious incase I want to trade / sell it.

They're worthless I'll take em off your hands for a tenner.   ;D

In most cases £20 to £30 per unit for the unpainted miniatures the undercoated ones maybe a bit less depends how badly someone wants them . Bears and Lancers can go for even more. The Steppe Horse Archers are still available from GW so they won't raise as much. If your going to ebay them do them in single lots don't flood ebay with lots of Kislev minis at once as they won't fetch as much as they don't seem as rare.

There are Archers on ebay now for £35 and Axemen for £26

Looking at that list you could have £500 to £600 worth of minis if you sold them in the right way.

I know there are people on here still hunting for these.
All I will say is (in this case) seller beware ;)

Like Dave says if you present them the right way you have a nice nest egg there, if not they will struggle to fetch over £100.
I am sure there will be forum members getting in touch with you in regards offers :)

Wow thanks, didn't realize they were that in demand. I'd love to trade them as kislev just never appealed to me and i'm colllecting other things currently. Just needed a rough price point on the value.

I'd be surprised if your army made it to ebay, as Azrael suggests (I'll make an offer myself, for example).  But DaveC is probably right that you could get 20-30 quid each if you were to post them in dribs and drabs over a few months.  OTOH, you would probably have a fair chance of getting a 'buy it now' bid of 450 or so for the whole army, not least because it is a coherent 2-3k force.

Ebay prices went higher and higher those last month. Kislev stuff usually go for 35£, except for characters maybe.

Bear where very expensive few years ago but estonishly go for lower prices those days...

Characters never go for a high price.

Kislevite winged lancers are the most prized unit, beware ! You can sold them for a big pack of money. I thought i had saw them go for 70£ few weeks ago but i could not found again the auction on ebay... So i must have mistaken. But you can easily sold them for 35 or 40£ i suppose (on ebay).

And i may be interested too in proposing something for this army, trade or bought.
