I think combined arms forces of mixed Orcs (to do the fighting) and Goblins (to boost break point and soak up missile power) are the best.

I wouldn't like to try and win many games with an all gobbo force?

I seem to remember a piece of proze that suggested that the smaller the goblinoid, the more intelligent it tends to be......  thus Snots are smarter then gobs are smarter then orcs are smarter then BO,

that said, obvisouly that is ONLY true for those of the smaller breeds that manage to stay out of the hands of the bigger ones........

thats not what i ment. i feel that the gobbo army lists allow for stronger army building then the orc n gobbo list

From the 2009 Trial army list pdf?

Although that list can have a large swarm of troops I don't think it's that powerful. The characters are all generally low in leadership and, while some units can deal out a good beating, almost none can take one.

I've never seen that goblin list played, but I think I'd prefer the full Orc list (due to the combination of heavy hitters and tough units).
