Nearly 40 downloads, not bad, but no feedback, not good.

Anyone care to comment? Anyone given the lists a try out?

I have been play testing them and re-reading the whole series to see if there were any glaring ommissions or minor tweaks required, and i now have an improved PDF file, including Pikemen, a few changes to the Dothraki and Dorne, minor changes to the Goldcloaks and a couple more special characters, PM me if youre interested int he latest version.

Oookkkkkk....... "Winter is coming" ;)

I love this variant, can't wait to test the rules. I thinking about building the armys with "Battle of Westeros" Miniatures.  :o
Believe what you want, but admit the same right to others!

Do what you want, but only if you inflict any other no harm!

I'm a massive noob, and I only know GoT through the TV series, so I can't really comment on the rules properly.

The Iron Islands army looks the most attractive to me, a bit like Chaos in normal Warmaster.

Are there any good descriptions online for how these kinds of units should look / be armoured?

let me know how you get on NemesisCH.

Stormwind, ive not found an online military resource as such but their is plenty of information online, as for the Iron Islands, i would go for a Danish type look circa 1000BCE.

I am now considering that my best path to WM would be WMA in the Westeros setting.  So I'm very intrigued by this work.

Any battle reports or play testing of these lists?

Just what I've been looking for! The lists look great and I will test them out with a few friends asap.

What sort of time period is recommended for the models? Norman? Medieval? If so great I have lots of left overs from previous armies.

Anything pre-gunpowder.

If for now you stick with Westeros then your house/area of preference should determine the looks.

For northerners I would opt for the rough looks of Vikinger, Sax and Germans. Would do equally well for the Hill tribes Tyrion hires.

Houses in the central part of Westeros I would expect more elaborate armour and armoured horses.

Even more down south even slavic/arabic minis would look appropriate.

Iron Islands and Free Folk should look suitably barbarian.

Personally, and its all down to your own tastes really, I've gone for an early medieval look for my northern/Stark army and later medieval (ie more advanced looking, armour wise - plate instead of mail and more bills than spears for eg) for my Lannister army, as for the Iron Isles as I previously posted I'd go for Viking types, and Welsh tribesmen for the Hill Clans.

Hey all, I have been looking for something like this for quite sometime!  After DLing the file page 4 has no Army list.  Could I possibly get the page?

Thanks
