Hello all
I wanted to react about a thing Azrael said last week. Did not had time to say it earlier but i have time now, at last.
We where discussing about OOP things and more especially wounded markers :
I personally don't think they are worth the effort chasing them all down as they often appear in with army deals.
I have a fair few spare.
Plus the moulds for the ultra rare A counter.
Casting or recasting as always been a hot question. For my part i never did it, but it's not a problem (that point of view' engages only me).
But I wanted to bring a thing to discussion :
As a collector, i think it is necessary, when someone make some recasts, to put a clear and well known mark on the recast, to be able to differenciate it at first sight. At ebay era, we need to protect ourselves and other fellow collectors. So I would love anybody making recasts to clearly present here a picture with its own mark. It seem a need to me.
Nobody want to have the very bad surprise to pay a high price on ebay for a great item and discover after few weeks, when ebay time to complain is gone, that it was a fake/recast.
For example, the A counter produced by azrael (but it's only an example, it's the same for all of us), would sell for a good price on ebay. Knowing Az can produce some, i need to know what to ask to a seller for him to prove the originality of his stuff.
Maybe i'm not very clear, sorry for my bad english. But i think i have made me clear for the thing i wanted to say.
