Dwarven tents ?
« on: February 14, 2012, 11:40:44 PM »
Bought years ago on ebay... At this date, i thought it was from the regular range and i found they looked great. It's only few month ago i realised they where not part of the official dwarves range.
An idea where they come from ?
I think i remember the ebay seller sold three lots of them per three.

I think they're from the Dwarf Character pack. There's on on page 99 of my hardcopy rulebook, in the "Painting an Army" section.

Oh, nice precision, thanks ! I was thinking they where fancast or something like that.

I know some characters blisters have changed throught time, and the dwarves are in this case. But i had never heard of this tent in any official document. Thanks !

Hrrm - as a newbie - I want to know - how representative of HQ units is this now?

By which I mean to ask, are the HQ unit blisters that GW sell lacking or missing items like this?

The rumors says that the characters blister packs content has changed through time. I have heard it was particularily the case with elfes and dwarves. And the point is that i have several characters for those two races, far more than can be put in a single blister.

As i don't think GW put random characters in the characters blisters today, it means some figs are OOP, even if the blister is still for sale.

Here is the picture, found exactly where Spectrat Ghost said :

So... Where it a part of the character blisters one day ? Someone knows ? Lex maybe ? We all know you are a dwarf fan of the first hour.

It was never made, as long as i know. I have put online all the figs i have/had, but don't know if all of them are here.

Check on the french forum : http://warmaster-fr.niceboard.com/t1467-revue-des-armees-nains

I know that some where cast, but as far as I can remember these where never part of the blistered range. The only tent I am aware of is the one the Bretonians have.

Various character packs did have " stuff " in them.... IIRC a table for the empire, the screen with the shields for the dwarf, as well as bits and pieces for a field forge/workshop

(up with a better picture)

Same opinion on the french forum. It as never a part of the character blister.

I like those pieces of "stuff" in those blisters. To be able to make a little camp around the general is fun.
