There's a whole raft of oop warmaster appeared in the last few days, Kislev army and some individual packs, swordmasters, dragon princes, spider riders, FG infantry.

Karawan from Poland has been steadily drip releasing rare units onto e bay for over a year now, I wonder where he's getting his supply from!? I managed to get my final required unit of Forest Goblin infantry from him a while back.

The only oop units I'm after now are 1 Dragon Princes and any number of Elite Empire Halberdiers. I'm glad I managed to get everything else a few years back before the prices went, well.... mental!

Yeah I had my eye on that Kislev army but it rocketed over £340  and I realised it wasn't in my league. x-D

Beware with this Karawan. He has been selling LOADS of oop things those last years.

Each time in perfect metal condition. Every time the same units. he waits for approx one month each time between his sells.

I bought one unit just to check how they are (spider riders). They are in good condition and the metal looks the same than the GW one. But i have noted some few imperfections to be able to compare to the next units he would be selling.

My opinion is done...

My old boss at GW used to give me and some fellow mould makers figures to check if they were forgeries.

Some were obvious, some were very good. With one them the only way we could tell is because they had double mould lines.

Yes - I've been religiously checking worldwide ebay auctions of warmaster every day for the past 2 months.  And I have noticed the exact same thing.  Initially I thought it was because they didn't sell - but that doesn't seem to be the case.

We have several active Polish members, so either they know him or know of him.......

He may just have had enough smarts to realize that these would become a moneymaker.......

Realy, there are evidences.

When you check the past feedbacks, you see a long serie of Gobelin Mortar/Spider riders/Forest gobelins and High Elves Swordmasters and Dragon Princes...

Always those same figs. From month. Always once per month, not to drag too many attention.

They are always unpainted, out of blisters.

David Wasilevsky could maybe tell us if he sees a common mark or something ? I saw yesterday he bought several units from him few month ago.

Hello, to all the good folks here on the forums.  I am also interested in this previous round of auctions from the aforementioned seller. I am actually very interested because I purchased some of the models he was selling. I am curiously waiting to see if they are reproductions as well or rather just some old models that never got around to being finished. I will be sure to share my experience with this seller as soon as I get a hold of the models.

In response to the growing bubble on E-bay Warmaster you must take into account that stockpiles of this stuff is running its course and new in the blister stuff for OOP models is not seen very often. On the contrary to this, there is currently some NIB Kislev stuff up right now.

Not me no, I would not be selling these for any price.  8) I did purchase both of his "big ticket" items though.

I have 4 units each of swordmasters and phoenix guard and 3 units of dragon princes (looking for one more). They are all from different sources but at least one of each of the above types are from Karawan.

I've just had a good look at them to compare them and I can't see any excess flash, mould lines or markings that would indicate any of them are different from each other? If they are re-moulds, they're very good ones!

You're right Marrell - the pattern of selling is suspicious but it is possible he managed to get half a dozen units of each from people in Poland who perhaps don't know the true value?

And to be very clear, despite my surname, I'm English and live in the UK and have no links to Karawan at all, apart from buying the odd blister from him in the past.
