There were empty indeed, played vs a rooky (he came from WHB), and have only two hours. So we go for a simple open battle with four simetrical impassable zones.
Just advance, attack, roll some spells and feel warmaster.
It is interesting, he knew the mechanic of command, and no more rules, not even the units profile, so I told him... that is heavy cav, light cav, dragon ogres are really nasty and few tips like that, and no more time to explain much more. He did very very well, because he manage to control an army (not feeling like moving isolated units), an make quick warfare decissions. It is curious because he always wanted to attach the general with chariot to the hot point of the battle, and that works for this battle.
Ironically he plays better and I made a starter error with my charges so he had a well earned victory.
