Both armies look great, very nice. Thanks for the pics.

I'm guessing Dogs of War won?

Those DoW units seemed to move very fast. They charged your cold one knights quickly :o

Don't know if it's good advice but i usually have 2 bolt throwers flanked by 2 units of xbows. That way if you are charged you've got a few more stand and shoot.......and if they fail and you can get within 15 cm, having 24 missile shots is lethal.  ;)

I'm surprised you went with such little terrain - I would be terrified of a big expanse like that - especially with cannons about!

Lovely to see one of the "unofficial" armies get an airing too!

Yes, we could assume DoW won the battle (time was up before the 7 turns were played, but they had many more victory points than DE at that moment).

DE player exposed too much the Artillery and cold ones, and I got the chance to charge them fast.  :)  I expended the Paymaster bonus that turn to get more chances to do the charge. Money makes them fight harder... hehehe..  :P

Next battle to be played, probably will be Empire vs Kislev this week, I will try to share the pics soon.

Thanks Dave and all for your comments. That day we were going to play a four player battle: DoW+WitchHunters vs Chaos+Dark Elfs, but in the end we played DoW vs DE, and at the same time (but separately) Chaos vs DE.

Another day we'll to try to play the 4 players battle. :)

I am glad you like the pics and the battle-report. Pics are very big and I don't well yet how to reduce them, and when you read the thread click on the photo to make it bigger.  :-\

Try this:

[IMG width=800]http://i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu205/jchaos79/Dogs%20of%20War%20vs%20Dark%20Elves%2022%20abril%202012/1.jpg[/img

I erase the last bracket to allow you see the code.

The adition is the parameter width=800   . You have to type it in each picture.

This way the pic is reduce and you can click it and it pops to the original big size.

game looks absolutely great but I also feel more terrain would make it even better! Great figures guys. Makes me want to play warmaster again after a long break!

Hi everyone!, and of course, hi Edmund and Jchaos, ^_^, my players compatriots!

i'm the DE player ^_^, sorry for answering so late but i have just discovered this subject.  :-[

Mmm, Of course, my army was very exposed  to the cannons and The rest of shooters, there wasn't too much Settings to hide!!!

And Edmund hasn't talk about his luck in the dice rolls, i still remember it  ;D

But there is no way, Edmund is right, i made some mistakes in that battle. I hope to be less Impulsive for the next time. So many things to learn!

Edmund, I really enjoyed that battle and your units were awsome, specially the big elephant ;-)
