Dwarf Throne of Power / Anvil of Doom
« on: May 11, 2012, 04:59:34 PM »
Sorry to make a topic but I searched within the forum and found nothing.

I thought the runesmith with the normal anvil in the command pack for dwarves is the one that counted for the rules.  It says "Anvil", not "Anvil of Doom".  So I wonder, is the ToP just meant to represent the General rather than a hero? And is the AoD just a flourish to make pointy eared tree huggers like me tremble in fear of the normal dispel rules that Dwarves have?

I really like the models and am just wondering if they're worth buying to make the cavalry-less, monster-less Dwarf army look a bit cooler. =-P

I think it comes down to preference. They're characters, do what you want with them.

In my opinion:

throne of power is for general.

The anvil in the regular character pack is for a runesmith - able to dispell

Anvil of Doom is for the up grade of runesmith with anvil (mount) - able to dispell and also prevents for Terror
