Just realised I didn't even post some better non-SG pics I had along with the falcons!

Here we have the last Infinity model I finished.  He's been touched up more since then - but these 5 models I poured hours into are mothballed as the one guy I played with has moved away to Derby and no one regularly plays around here.

Next there's a group shot of half of my Norman army for SAGA - really proud of these - first units I've ever painted. =-)

Finally are my 19 falcons awaiting finishing touches and also for me to undercoat then paint the turrets.

BEHOLD!

I am not dead!

My first ever actually honestly definitely FINISHED warmaster units.  The bolt throwers I did a while ago, finally varnished them, painted the base sides and put static grass on.

Dragon Ogres I finished last Friday and is my first Chaos unit!  My gaming group who have had far far less time than me and fewer options for modelling are shaming me by racing ahead and painting 100s of points of Warmaster so now I have no choice but to get to painting it (And to figure out a good storage solution so they don't get chipped once they're done!)

Yep, i like the basing too. Painting job is classical for the elves, but ok.

Got some 40mm Renedra bases at Colours, perfect for Generals and large hero bases.

Mounted my dragons on them.  Used bits of a Chaos Vehicle sprue on the Chaos Dragon to look like it has come out of some horrible ruins in a blasphemous ritual!

High Elf Dragon has a little artefact from the Warhammer Elf Mage plastic kit, works perfectly as a rune stone here!

These models are hellish to build / glue / pin / green stuff but I think so long as I'm gentle with them they should survive :-X

Great stuff. What is that you're using on the bases?

Vallejo grey pumice with a sprinkling of the fine grey slate in the GW basing kits (Assume that's the same as all the other basing kits!)

And GW static grass.

Finished my 2 units of Chaos Hounds!

Took me much longer than intended - I tried rushing through some of these without properly undercoating them and it made everything take a lot longer!

Very happy with how they look now. =)
