Dungeonquest - Does Anyone Still Play It?
« on: September 08, 2012, 10:48:10 AM »
I was meant to be having a game of Dungeonquest the other day, but it didn't happen for various reasons.  I've played it on and off for years though, which made me wonder if anyone else still plays this game.

It's very straightforward to play, but it's actually pretty challenging to get out in time with enough treasure to beat your fellow players, so it requires quite a bit of thought.  I've never managed to get away with that much treasure, but it's always fun trying to do so.

Does anyone else have any experiences to share?

I've got the newest version from Fantasy Flight. I play it weekly with the kids, and some of my friends come over and we enjoy watching each other die.

It's quite a fun game, if a bit rules-lite.

Used to play the game it was ported from (Drakborgen) but it belonged to a mate so haven't seen that one in years. Both the Swedish remake from around the 2000's and FFG's more recent endeavour get some table time every so often.
