Hi,
After a long sabatical I found my warmaster Empire army again in the closet. After looking on the net I am getting into the spirit again to do some table top warfare. I still have the rulebook but haven't played table top games since a long long time (2001 ish?)so I need a refresh course. I am looking for laydback people that can interpid the rules and adjust accordingly to the spirit of the game and to have a fun game with. I am not looking for 10-13 year olds that argue and whine over every rule...sorry if that sounds hard but i remember them vividly

. I am looking for good warmaster players in the region of The Hague, Netherlands. If there is a group or club then that would be great.
I dug out my Empire army and this is what I have:
Proximately 60-70% of the army is painted but I still need to do something with the bases.
Halberdiers: 7 units (1 unit are swordsmen and 1 unit of greatswords as alternative halbediers made from skirmish and character pack models just to add some variation)
Crosbowmen: 6 units (will re-base them 7 per base to get 7 units in total, looks better as well)
Knights: 4 units
Pistoliers: 3 units
Handgunners: 1 unit
Skirmishers: 2 stands but can make some more
Flagelants: 1 unit
canons: 2 units
Steamtank: 1
Grand altar: 1
Some characters etc etc
I still have some units new in blisters:
1 x pistoliers, 2 x handgunners, 2 x knights, 2 x flagelants, 3 x empire character packs (can make some more alternative units with), 2 x hellblasters and 2x cannons. I think i got the griffon model somewhere as well but could not find it yet. So all in all quite a big force I think.
Some personal history:
I have played Games Workshop games since 1985 ish. Started with the second edition WHFB and 40k rogue trader. Warhammer fantasy roleplay soon after (played all campaigns as far as I remember). Been through several editions of WHFB and 40K and everytime wondering why there were always huge holes in the rules. I remember the frustrations of playing.
I played: Mighty Empires (one game could last forever it seems, great memories), epic 40k (dwarfs), Battlefleet Gothick (space marines), Space Hulk, Man O war (Dwarfs), WH40k (Space Wolves space marines), WHFB (Bretonian) and still have most armies in boxes.
I will concentrate on Warmaster though as those seem to be stable rules and everything fits in a small box and it looks great on the table.

Greetings
