OOP Gobelin archers with fanatics ?

Toon mentionned in an other topic the gobelin archers with a fanatic like you can see in this link.

I have one unit of those, but no fanatic ball... Nor in any i have seen before. Is there really any fanatic inside them or where it taken from the normal gobelin blisters ? As the unit is mis pictured in GW site, i suppose the question is open...

I have three blisters of these archers- some have a large axe, not shown (as far as I can see) in the picture on the GW site, but none are fanatics.

I've wondered if it's just from the character models, which is possible as each strip in that picture appears to have ben cut up. I've just never really compared he sculpts.

Those stands match the ones I have, but looking at Warmaster Magazine, Issue 3, page 4- there should be a strip that includes a fanatic, as part of the goblin archers. I'll try to post a scanned picture later.

There's no pic of the big axe-wielding goblin in any of the pics in that magazine though.

Right ! Here is the pict. I have some time to spend in silce when baby was sleeping, so i took the picture.



First sprue are the same. The second sprue on magazine have two figs on the left who do not apprear on third sprues. The two right ones are from our second sprue.

This is an image that I have created that was copied from Warmaster Mag #3 - copied, cut and pasted as there was a double of minis in the two separate pics





Very similar to Marell's but with the extra strip but still not showing all the possible strips as I note there is an extra 2 strips in the pic of Marell's further up.... (the strip with 4 archers and then the next strip that has a dude with the big axe and another with a sword)


P.S. Just had a look through the Alternate Goblin strips I have and I have the fanatic strip so it was indeed an optional strip that was produced.

I also have an interest in the other strip, if you happen to have more for trade Big Red.

I think the other strip Big Red found a pic of is in the back of the same Warmaster mag as the pic you posted Marell.

Yup....  Both pics I posted are from Warmaster Mag #3. 

I cropped the second picture to only include the strip that wasn't repeated.  The strip containing the dude with the big sword and the dude with the spear above his head is shown twice. 

One pic is near the front of the mag (p4) and the other is at the back (p47).
