Today I bought some flexible resin tracks from Total Battle Miniatures and an email exchange went back and forth in regards to sorting a courier for delivery. Anyway, I asked a couple of questions about how their 15mm terrain scales for 10mm. The conversation quickly turned to how the company is on the verge of releasing their Black Powder Europe range of buildings in 10mm. It's due to go up on sale this month. Some of the buildings are very suited to the Warmaster setting.

Here's the link and a couple of pics from the Black Powder Europe 15mm range. The 10mm range will include more buildings than the 15mm range;

...the conversation then turned to how this year the company is focusing on 10mm scale and will release all their current 6mm and 15mm scale ranges in 10mm scale. The Pike and Shotte range in particular is very suited to the Warmaster setting.

Here is the link and a couple of pics to the 6mm Pike and Shotte range;

...the guys were very open to talking about their ranges and products and were very keen to hear requests and advice about their products. This is a really good chance to have some extremely high quality products, the likes of the out of production Forgeworld buildings and terrain, made available.

I'd urge anyone remotely interested to email these guys showing interest and providing advice or suggestions. They made me feel very welcome doing so...

Thanks for sharing this - those look amazing!

That walled town set in 10mm would have me drooling, would be amazing for a Dwarf / Empire / Elf defence mission.

Are the buildings in the picture their 10 mm ones ??  in that case, they should put up some Warmaster stands in them to make us want them even more !!

@Lex - they are pics of the 6mm to show us what we can expect when the 10mm range is done.  Please correct me awesomeshotdude if my assumption is wrong.

Yeah that's right Big Red. The Walled Town pic is their 6mm version, which has incredible detail for 6mm...I imagine the 10mm version will contain considerably more detail. Their next range in line to do is the Americana range, which doesn't suit the Warmaster setting. However they said that if there was enough interest shown, they would bump the Pike and Shotte range up the list to do after the Americana range. The Walled Town is a part of their Pike and Shotte range...people really shoud email them and request that they do this :)

Also, I asked for a painting guide for their stuff, which they sent by email, in that email they also said this, so when I see the pics, I'll put them up here;

"I will be taking pictures of the 10mm Black Powder some time this week, time permitting. The buildings will match with Warmaster very well. Another plus is the Hamlet, Village and Town tiles are all designed to take Warmaster bases along the roads and in areas around the buildings. It's my favourite range to date."

Here are some very cool pics of the 10mm Black Powder Europe range that is being released very soon. These are fresh from the mould and haven't been painted yet. These are just some of the range, there are other buildings as well. The half timber buildings and the churches are my favourites...and the Pike and Shotte range will have a lot more of the half timer buildings when they are released.

Superb looking buildings and hamlet/village/town tiles, and perfect terrain pieces....can't wait to get my hands on them...

The guys at Total Battle Miniatures have indicated that if these 10mm ranges are popular enough with the Warmaster players and enough interest is shown, that they'd be interested in expanding into some more fantasy specific buildings, like buildings for other races....I really hope this happens :)

Perhaps we should do a survey here to ask what would the most popular race / building type be?

I would give my left arm for some Elven towers and waystones at that quality and those prices.

That's a great idea Stormwind!!! Some High Elf buildings would also be my first choice too.

There's so much stuff that they could do. Without trying to blast their eyes with a wall of text, I sent them an email explaining in as short as detail as possible (with some attached pics as well) all the different human cultures and non-human races that existed in the Warmaster settings and their different styles of architecture...and that a lot of this stuff could be used by other game systems/settings as well, therefore the sale potential wouldn't just be limited to Warmaster Fantasy players...an important factor for a company.

I think that you can proxy Orcs villages with saxon villages:

Like at the bottom there, primitive huts and all that.

Dwarven mining entrances or fallen statues / pillars would be fab as well.
