(WM) Empire Army
« on: March 03, 2013, 01:57:25 PM »
Hi all I'm new here, think it's o.k to post this here (i did check with Lex first). I am looking to move on my Empire Warmaster army as i very rarely use it now, I invariably use my Undead. It is fully painted to a decent standard and contains (to the best of my knowledge) some out of production models (Knights of the White Wolf, wagons/baggage train and earthworks/fortifications). The army consists of

4 x crossbow units
4 x Halberdiers
2 x Great Cannons
2 x Pistoliers
1 x Knights of the White Wolf (Out of production)
3 x Knights
1 x skirmishers
1 x steam tank
1 x handgunners
2 x flagellants
1 x volley gun
1 x hero on griffin
1 x war altar
3 x heroes
2 x wizards
6 x baggage/wagon train (Out of production)
8 x barricade/fortifications (Out of production)
(plus a couple of unopened blisters (Great cannons and Handgunners) and a loose unit of skirmishers). Loking for £250 for the lot, payment by paypal, postage will be charged at cost (the army comes in 2 cases for carrying and protection). Lots of pics below, drop me a PM if at all interested, thanks Al.

I would consider the price pretty fair- it's a full, well painted army with some rare things in it (Wagon trains especially seem to be gold for some reason now).

I'm a bit interested myself, but already have ~3000pts of Empire stuff and not much money to throw around at the moment.

I think the price is ok too. It's worth knowing that there isn't a huge amount of traffic on this site, and most regulars probably have these models. I would consider putting the oop stuff on eBay on a free listing weekend with high starting prices. Make sure you select international shipping as many collectors are overseas. Then, if they sell I'd sell the painted army on its own.
