Eureka Dwarfs suitable for Iron Breakers!
« on: March 08, 2013, 03:51:01 AM »
I recently bought some Dwarfs from Eureka to serve as Iron Breakers for my Dwarf Army. I'm very happy with them, they've got some great detail, are crisp casts and are perfectly proportioned...and they are easy to paint.

Thanks mate. It was really easy to do though...anyone could get the same results. Each mini took only about 1-2 minutes of actual painting time.

Army Painter Platemail silver spray (serves as both the undercoat and basecoat) -> brush on a single coat of brown for axe/hammer handle -> brush on a single coat for beard/hair -> brush on a single coat of green for undergarment -> brush on a single coat of gold on the shields anvil icon -> brush on Army Painter Dark Tone dip -> after it has dried properly, spray on a matt varnish to remove the Army Painter Dip shine.

Seriously, the actual physical time spent painting each of these mini's is less than 2 minutes. If you set your self up for it, you could paint a whole Iron Breaker army in a single day I reckon :)
