Raise Dead Measure point

The undead spell raise dead has a range of 30 cm.  But where do you measure the range to: a point in the engagement itself? Or a point where the raised units will appear?

I would say a point of the engagement.

IIRC the describtion says that you can target an engagement to cast te spell on. I would say if you can reach "your" guys in 30cm you's be fine
