As a bit of a side project, I've been using some of the Hirst Arts small bricks to make a stone tower. Here's a pic of it tower so far. I still need to do something with the inside surface of the battlement walls, probably some Vallejo Stone Effect.
I also need to do a door at ground level, a single window/arrow slot in each of the four walls at about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way up and a trap door in the floor boards up on the top of the tower.
I'm then going to mount it to a low set rocky base with a short path leading to the door. Then I can finally undercoat and paint it...probably put some foliage around on the base as well...
