A great bitz fair ?

Hello guys,

We where discussing with Lex the possibility and pertinence of proposing a "Great Bitz Fair" on the forum.

The idea is that we all have bits from here and there. For my part, i have some warmaster and epic bitz and i just add them as gift when shipping figs to someone. I can't use them for anything else.

We would all take pictures of our bits, whatever they are, and post them on the topic. Anyone can make an offer.

For my part, warmaster but other bits style are always welcome. I don't play BFG for example, but bits are usefull for my squat Epic army, etc. So everybody might find something here.

Of course, shipping cost are frequently important so i'm unsure this would be a real success. And the second point is that it would work only if the largest quantity of people DO take pictures and post them.

But it's always nice to be able to complete a partial unit, find something to help scratchbuild, etc.

What do you think of that ?

Maybe the creation of a new topic would be a better idea. The most important is to have a quick and easy vision of the stuff presented. The topic must be before everything a showcase.

Well I was meaning here as the SG boards nut yes, a specific place and probably guidelines as to content would be a good idea too.

I did not thought about specific rules but maybe some few will be needed. I think, due to the fact this has to be mostly a question of motivation that we do not (yet) put any rules. Better put pictures for now.

As marell pointed out, this is an extention of he original Bitz Box idea, and I for one am willing to do some inventory and put it up.

Dont go overley enthousiastic at the moment, I am trying to figure out a good exchange !

Do we set a date or just the first one to have a picture send it, creating a new subject ?

Lex have created a dedicated sub forum so go on, post your picts.

We wondered if rules where usefull but for now let's go as we want. A true fair is free

Considering the success... I think i will retire my own offer and will be back to my traditional trades

My bitz box is considerable, but it's mostly packed away. I'll post it... eventually, but for now it's helpful to know what people want.

This project will work only if people post pictures. I have not posted everything yet. It's not a problem if you post only few items per few items.

But if there is no pictures, i think we will have to drop this idea. Let's not pollute the forum for nothing.
