notice from the pendraken forum that our good friend here is working on an orc proxy list....

seems that GW is the only company who makes a great distinction between orcs and goblins, thought it merited suggesting possibly using microworld games 6mm orcs as goblins?

http://www.microworldgames.com/collections/6mm-fantasy/products/orc-spearmen

there are archer and hand weapon variants too, pricing is pretty decent, plus the character pack might provide some useful goblin heroes and wizards, just beware international shipping can be pricy....

Yeah, using some large scale 6mm models and smaller 15mm ranges seems like a good idea to explore.

Hey, did you ever find any 10mm "streltsi" russian musketeer troops?

http://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/Streltsi

Yes indeed, they could be really nice for the crimson guard  or regular "archers" as proxis

with big axe and musket.

i wish there was something similar for 10mm
Could do with some skeleton heads to attach to heavy armored historical minis ....

I asked the owner of MWG for some pics of the 6mm orcs with some 10mm models

he responded with the pic in this thread:
http://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/viewtopic.php?p=485560#p485560

I would link it directly, but I'm waiting for his permission, I think they look damn near perfect for the job of goblins :)

pic of 6mm orcs, the rock elemental guy is 12mm tall, and the plastic tube is 10mm, I reckon they're perfect!
