WTB Araby army
« on: July 18, 2013, 12:33:25 PM »
I am looking to buy an araby army. Preferably unpainted but I will be happy to consider painted armies as well.

Right now your best bet is to investigate buying it at a high price from Australia, I think.  With packaging and the higher costs it works out at £20 a blister or so. =-/

I really hope that I can find a second hand army out there.... I calculated a 2000 point army from Australia and including postage it will cost me something like 400 euros...

I really hope that someone out there might have a collection big enough that he might want to reduce ...

Are you in the UK?  Remember that the Araby Spearmen, Guard and Flying Carpets are all still available from the UK store at only £8.70 a unit.  You will /not/ find them cheaper now.

Tridente Bologna have some great proxies for camel riders, desert riders and archers:

Respectively, that's only £5 a unit.

Unfortunately I dont live in the UK but I am located in Greece so p&h shouldn't be too high...

The Araby Djinn and the Araby Characters packs I wanted last night ended at about £30 each.  So yeah, importing from Aus/NZ is actually cheaper than those packs went for.

=-<

Sorry man.

EDIT: Elephants went for £25 I think.

And you have to consider they are really seldom viewed on ebay... Even when they where not oop. A blister here, a blister there... Never entire armies. Not even once a year.
