What chapter are you going to paint?

For the box figures I'm definately doing Blood Angels, as well quite frankly I can't be arsed to file off all the BA markings, etc... that seem to be moulded onto them, and well I haven't otherwise got any BA's so it will make a nice change.

Its not going to stop me from using any other Terminators I've got though of course, not that any of them are in any way even undercoated. Well none of those that aren't the original lead ones from teh early 90's anyway...

The boxset Terminators will be Blood Angels my first ever army many years ago haven't painted a BA in a long time. I also plan to do a set of Black Templar Sword Brethren Style Terminators complete with chaplain using the current plastic Terminators, some Templar bits and lots of Greenstuff. Might even do Wolf Guard in Terminator armour if the new minis are as cool as the rumours suggest.

I know I am going against the grain but I will be using Imperial Guard. I know, I know. I am a heretic.

I have always liked going for the Aliens theme for Space Hulk. That is not to say I will never use the Space Marines but when I do it will be the Blood Angels.

Blood angles Mostly becouse of nostalgic SH memories and I don't wan't to ruin the fluff. I never liked the "vampire" setting of that chapter but it was never as "in your face" as with this SH captain. I think i at least swap his head to be less Draculish:P Hehe...now I imagine him counting: one genestealer, two genestealers , three genestealers...Muhuhahahaha

Yes BA here as well, I just wish they wern't so dam hard to paint.

i would go for the old blood angel style (blood angel orange) like i always see my epic blood angel chapter at taccomm

Not directly Space Hulk related, but I am considering painting my AoBR SM's in the same scheme as the very first Space Marines that I ever painted, or at least my first and so far only home-brewed Chapter. I tried to follow the instructions to paint the Blood Angels Orange scheme using the old SM Paint Set, and ended up with what basically amounts to brown, highlighted with Orange.

The models in the box are quite unambiguously Blood Angels, so if I ever get around to painting them (not impossible, but there's a lot more ahead of them in the queue) that's what I'll paint them as.

I might, however, wind up playing the game using other Terminator models on occasion, in which case they'll be my own chapter.

Ive painted mine sythes of the emperor, after alot of conversion on the symbols
mainly because they hate tyranids

My latest on the SH set is that I am likely to tackle the Blood Angels in the New Year. I've been playing and trying to fully paint a Warhammer army this year (alongside of course the odd splash of paint to my EIR WMA army), and will be switching to 40K in January. Deciding to field a Blood Angels army makes sense (or 'nids I guess), as it means that I can paint up my SH Marines for it, so two birds with one stone so to speak...
