Ring vs Scroll
« on: August 07, 2013, 04:00:48 PM »
Scroll can deny a successful cast.

Wounds caused count in the first round, similar to S&S.

I would disagree.  I believe it comes down to order of play on the ring/scroll.  The ring always succeeds and so the spell goes off.  The scroll would cancel any further spell just not the ring.

if you follow what is written, the Scroll NEEDS a successful cast to negate. The Ring simply voids the need to roll dice, the casting in itself is succesful, then the dispell blocks the effect from taking place..

So better make sure you burn the enemy Scroll before you use the Ring
