WM Araby and Brettonians for sale
« on: October 15, 2013, 08:20:34 PM »
Selling of my collection.
First up around 3k each of unpainted BNIB bretonnians and araby.
All troop types represented.
Not sure of value, but seen araby stuff going for £30 a pack/unit
Pm me with offers.

LEX
Seller has indicated that he prefers not to split up lots, so do not inquire after rare units unless interested in buying complete armies

The Araby will, yes, easily go for above £25 for a blister.  If you had asked me 2 months ago I would have bitten your hand off, but unfortunately I spent all my money on Kislev. =-<

I may be interested in the Brettonians if they're still available, but I have no idea of a price to offer. Can you give an idea of the price you'd expect, and photos of the army/ a list of units?

I was interested in buying some of the Brettonians off this guy but when I sent him a query he sent me a slightly agressive reply saying he wasn't willing to split them and then blocked my messages?

Won't be buying anything off him now.

Dave, I had a similar experience on the WM Facebook group, you get a narky reply, no photos or list of what's available and if you ask to split a reply about wanting a lot more money. (I asked about 2k of dwarves as I don't need 4k).
Looking for Warmaster players for games around london and surrey.

Here's the message I got from him.

"What is your upper limit for payment?
Sorry to be so upfront about it, but had quite a few time wasters on here offering stupidly low amounts."

I took that message and the fact that he has 0 posts/no refs into consideration and decided against dealing with him.

Nope, 0 posts are due to the forum software not allocating me a rating.
I just want to shift the stuff, but when I have over 4000 pts  (at least each ) spread over a few armies, posting up pictures and lists just for users to say 'ah that is how you did it, just looking for ideas' gets a bit annoying.
Or users who know how much the stuff is worth offering lower than original RRP to make a killing.
I am selling stuff off to finance things occurring in my situation, as such I need to sell them for what they are worth.
Selling RARE OOP units out of full armies or choice units leaves me with nothing I can move on, hence no splits.

But please feel free to continue to attack me on this public forum, for trying to sell my stuff for a fair price (what people are prepared to pat and not getting skanked), with limited time to answer all the timewasters/tire kickers and the fact the forum software doesn't register my post count  >:(.

The Forum does not up the post-count on the trade-forum. As you did not post in any of the other forums, you do not get a post count. That should be no big deal.

For the record, when these came up on the Warmaster facebook page I suggested he come here and on Miniature Bids to make sure the WM stuff got a broad potential public, as not everyone on this forum is also in the Facebook group.

Point made and taken.

That said, you could add an inventory and some pictures up here or on one of your other selling points and refer people to those. Just need to have it up on one place and defer people there. With a lot of funky stuff going down trough Ebay it make sense to have people see what they get.

Fair enough, but again, you could avoid that be noting it in your original trading post, and avoid the issue.

With this out of the way, could we please all refrain from name-calling and go back to business as usual.

It'll take you two minutes to make a list in the army selector that's in my sig and post the text of it on the forum so people have an idea of what you have beyond a "3k list".

Also note that the board is called "Trades & Services", not "Sales, Trades & Services". In general people here are going to be more interested in trading or paying lowering than eBay prices if you can't work out a trade. Hell, I don't even have an interest in paying what GW used to charge for them.

If you're interested in none of that then you're wasting your own time here. Take a couple of hours and take good shots of each of your units and list them separately up on eBay at the minimum price you're willing to accept (remembering that eBay hits you for 10%). That's how you're going to make the most money. The post at the top is just a colossal waste of time with the back and forth, no wonder everyone is frustrated.
