I think you're overestimating the effectiveness of the trebuchet, spiritusXmachina.

I forgot that against Undead who are not confused by drivebacks trebuchets are by far less effective.
And you're right. If at all (which is not too often) I would take pairs of them.

oh there are some armies which can cause big pains for Bretonians.
Chaos as basic army. Kill his infantry with your infantry. Draw out knights with hounds and counter charge with chariots, knights whatever using your flyers as anvil.
We killed 5 unit of knights (Geralds iirc) in one round with that.

Problem with Brets is that they come a long way from the beating boys to one of the better armies.
Best flyers in the game, new spells, artillery und additional infantry sure did this...
I wonder why undead, who were equally "powerful" didn´t get the same addition.

No additional infantry, to be precise. The reliquae is more kind of a magic item.

And I would guess that Bretonnians still are not in the high quality class which I would count in: High Elves, Lizardmen, Daemons, Dark Elves.

But I'm perfectly with you about Undead. I still think that Mummy-characters with cmd 8 would have been a fair improvement. I don't know why this was'nt changed.
You always get my support for that.

Did anyone suggest the changes to Tomb Kings during the 'dev' phase of the rules revisions?
If they did I never heard them.

At some point in the beginning of the revision phase Sia did. Lex definitely knew those proposals. But that's off topic here.
