I prefer to not show intervening stuff unless getting final results. Sorry.

Here they are during basing process.

Artificial Stone is really nice to work on. I'm happy with the result.

Brown paint, and then brown+black wash and finally gobelin green addition... On the main base, i have added dark green between the two last stages, but i finally prefer without.

Nice! They look suitably grim.

Very nice. You have chosen a nice colour scheme.

Some well intentioned constructive criticism: If it were me, I'd try and tone down the brightness of the metal just a little with a black wash?

Lovely unit you have there.

True, i did not washed them. I was afraid it would lesser the bright aspect. I could have wahsed black and then re put some few mithril silver points, but i was unsure of the result.

I wanted a shiny aspect for elves are in my mind clad in mithril chain mail, not classical steel. So the blinking aspectsuits them well. Maybe a little too artificial, i recognise it. I may make some few tests and see what to do. Everything is still possible, even is they are based.

I think it's always worth trying a wash - remember that you can dilute it with a medium if you want. =)

I have no medium, i'm stuck in my island with few possibilities to buy one (means zero). I will go to France soon. Do you council one in particular ?

I actually dilute wash with just a TINY bit of dish soap and it works like a charm. Test it first, of course.
