What are you doing over Christmas?

I've got my brother, my sister in law and their son and daughter visiting (2 years and 4 years respectively) and it should be great as I've not seen them since summer!

My big present is a tyre for my car and I'm also getting a new pot. I managed to break 4 teapots over the past year so --- trying to be very careful with this, my last backup teapot.

I've got nice picture books for my niece and nephew and some weird Japanese sauces for my brother (He's mad for dipping sauces and stir fry stuff) and just posh chocs for the sister in law. My Mum wanted things for the garden and for my Dad I bought him a sign that says STATION MASTER, since he loves old steam trains and used to be a train spotter. =)

So, what are you all up to?

In-laws are coming over tomorrow. (Christmas Eve is the big celebratory day in Sweden). We'll go visit my father for turkey on Christmas Day. Apart from my wife and daughter I've agreed with everybody I know not to exchange gifts. The girls are getting a doll, a toy jungle zoo, a hiking backpack and a hair straightener. I'll let you guess which ones are for the toddler and which ones are for the wife.

A lot of driving. By the time the middle of January rolls around, I reckon I'll have done in excess of 2000 miles. Dad's  Taxi! Still, very much worth it to have the kids back home over the holidays, even though they won't all be home at the same time.

Edit: Oh and I'm getting Pendraken stuff from all 3 of the kids

Casually sitting at home building model kits with my dad; I'll be working on 40k minis (Imperial Guard for a tournament beginning early Jan), and he'll be working on the 1/32 Corsair I bought for him.

Spending Christmas with my wife's family. I put 400 miles on the car today just driving here, but I usually average about 5k a month due to work anyway.

Moved two days ago from south pacific where i live to France, ton visit family. 3à hours flight, 4 planes, 22 000 Km... Did not saw my clan for two years now. Just great,of course, to feel at home again.

And those boxes of warmaster figs that where waiting for me are great. Some are here since 2012. Sellers that did not wanted to ship to my island but accepted to France. I had even forgotten some boughts. Nice surprises, as some dated from before the end of spegames

Staying with my parents for a couple of days whilst the other half sees her family. Getting more motorcycle parts as presents to help speed my build along, but I will be spending a lot of time programming iphone apps.

I have multiple Christmas's with different sides of my family. One of them closer to downtown Chicago, the others right near me in the suburbs. This is the first Christmas for my baby girl!  Also, I will continue putting in many internship hours.
