Warmuster issue 1
« on: August 28, 2009, 10:49:23 PM »
First of all I would like to thanks the effort and great work of all the people involved in warmuster project to make it possible. Hope that more issues to come!!!

I specially like the norse army, and I would like to question: Who does the valkyries are made? I mean, which figures and from what manufacture? (I am quite interested, because last year I try to make some with pendraken amazons and the wings of the barbarian flyer, but they look like "sucubos deamons" more than valkyrires)

The work of DaveC, Azrael and Bel is ashtonish, and I part of them has been presented in these forum, but it looks brilliant in the "compendium" format.

Just for curiosity, the elephant shown in the front page: Is from 10mm range?

Finally the last question: Is warmuster going to cover battle of five rings world (Middle earth)? Exist the possibility of articles with historical topics from ancient and medieval warmaster?

Thanks for keeping warmaster alive dudes!!

We take what we get, and essentialy most material is comming from our community, and I know there is some people working on some interesting ME stuff and it is easy to set aside a part of the website to host that material. For the fanzine we will probably run a theme for each issue, and for either #2 or #3 we aim to do on that focusses on Sieges. And there is plenty siege material in ME too I would say.

Concerning Warmaster Ancient/Medival, although we certainly wont hold back on any material comming our way, we do face a "problem" in that area, as there is still ongoing activity on GWs part ....

IIRC - these are WRM Bretonnian sorceress, parts of 5ed/FB Bretonnian knights plastic heads (maidens with sword and shield) and the wings from BOFA Eagles.

Chinese vinyl toy (a bit larger than Araby elephants) with added armour (FB goblin wolf head), fangs, howdah and  WRM araby archers and mahud on a top.
